Have a trip in December with Free Dining. Staying at moderate, but upgraded to the DDP. On MDE, it's showing the following:

Dining Plan: 2017 Disney Dining Plan Table Service Meal - Adult (TBX), 2017 Disney Dining Plan Table Service Meal - Child (TBX), 2017 Disney Dining Plan 1 Quick Service Meal (TBX)

We have me, DW, and DS11. I'm confused about the Child table service meal. I thought that anybody 9 and up would be considered an adult. So, is there a different menu for kids older than 9 but not yet adult? I have read that he could either order off the regular adult menu, or he could order of the kid's menu and possibly get a larger portion of his order than the normal kid's portion.

Any help is appreciated.

This is just backend stuff. Anyone over 10 is an adult on Dining Plan, but because it links to your resort reservation, your child is still indicated as a child and cannot be lead guest or stay alone in a room.

If the kid is 11, kid has the adult DDP. But the coding indicates that it is a mini-adult, not a legal adult.

I only have adults (30+) on my reservation and mine reads the same way. I think it's just generic dining plan text.
