Well, we have finally decided to take the plunge and order CDS tickets. Any recommendations on where to sit? Need seats where DD5 will be able to see well, as well as us. Any major difference in the Cat 1 and Cat 2 tickets? Let me know everything, please!!

if this works - I should have cut and pasted the seating plan here

If it pulls up I will then post another comment

cirque seating for lanouba

now they center for me is always the best. sometimes closer is not better. I saw three of the worlds best guitarists second row center - it was awesome - this show however has so many visual stimuli going on simultaneously that it is incredible. While a closer row might be a better row fro some people I would go for the very first row where the numbers 101 102 103 104 105 are. I would want dead tpo the left or right of that black space...first row at the front of that aisle... the parade of all the cirque characters goes right through there... very cool... closer may be better - it is all a matter of personal taste - closer up you will obviously be closer to the action but you will lose some of the panarama view you get from being in the section behind that aisle.
It is all stadium seating so you will get a good view from anywhere I believe.

There really isn't a bad seat in this theater. It was designed specifically for this show. While it would be nice to sit dead center in Tier 1 seats, the other seats are just as nice. If you don't have the money for Tier 1 don't lose any sleep about sitting with the rest of us peons.:D

We just went to Cirque again for the second time last week. We had seats in section 202, about five rows up. We could see pretty good. I wouldn't go for the lower section seats, I think it would be hard to see all the action from so close. If you buy your tickets at WDW, you can get kids tickets for 1/2 off. We got our tickets the day before we went. There were plenty of available seats.

203 in the darker colored seats (as low as they have available) would be very good.

Thanks bunches!! Keep sending that good advice!

Does the 1/2 price thing only work AT WDW, or if I call will I get it also?

I think you had to be there to get the 1/2 price deal. It brings the kid's tickets down to $22.

We were in Section 203 Row AA in July, and it was the front row of the second tier. There was a rail, but it did not obstruct our vision. At the beginning of the show, all of the main participants came around the theater right in front of us!! The seats were excellent, and we could see everything.

The tickets are worth every penny they cost - it is a show you will never forget. My husband (who falls asleep during anything in the dark!!!) was spellbound and didn't even think about dozing off!!!

Enjoy the show. You can't take pictures, but the souvenir booklet is wonderful.

We had dinner before the 9 pm show at House of Blues, which was also excellent - save room for dessert!!!

Thanks! I am going to call tomorrow and see what is available!:p

We are going in Sep (our second time to La Nouba) and we are sitting in section 103 row D seats 1,2,3,4. We sat close the first time too and did not feel like it was hard to see all the goings on.
The BMX bike thing was a little disconcerting - thought if he shot off the stage he'd end up in our laps - but otherwise LOVED being up close.

I do agree that the theatre was designed specifically for this production and that there really isn't a "bad" seat. Only concern for your child (or short adults:rolleyes: ) would be if someone 6'4" sits in front of her. :(

I had a great res agent who went through all 7 days we would be there and looked for the best seats for us.

If you are using points for the seats, it is category 2 that you will be sitting in.

This show is one of CDS best! (O in las vegas pushes La Nouba to #2 in my book - that show is awesome too!)

Enjoy! It is worth every penny!!!!

If you have children, they have seat cushions that you can put on the seat to help raise them up - no cost. Our son got one last week. The cushions are stacked near the entrance and you just pick one up as you go in.
