We have ADR for brunch at chef Mickey and are going to MK after what is the best way to get there car? Monorail? And where would you board the monorail

There is a monorail stop inside The Contemporary that will take you straight to The Magic Kingdom! :D

You really need to provide some additional information. Where are you staying? Will you have your own vehicle?

If you're staying on-site, then take the bus to the Magic Kingdom. You can either walk or take the monorail from there to the Contemporary.
If you're driving, you can park at the TTC and take the monorail to the Contemporary, or take the boat to the Magic Kingdom and walk from there.
As above, you can drive to the Contemporary and pay to Valet if you want to leave your car there the rest of the day.
You can drive and self-park at the Contemporary, but you'll need to move your car after you eat. There's a three-hour parking policy for ADR's, and the Contemporary is the main location where it's actually enforced.

We are staying at the Caribbean Beach resort and we're driving in

This, except my kids would probably insist on taking the monorail from the Contemporary to MK instead of walking.
The resort monorail runs clockwise. You'd stop at the TTC, The Polynesian, and The Grand Floridian before reaching the Magic Kingdom. If you want the experience of riding the Monorail, go for it. But it will take a while.

Bus to MK, Monorail to Contemporary (for the experience) and walk back.

We paid to valet then took the Monorail to MK after our meal. Yes, it was not the cheapest option and it was not the quickest option but it was our choice and it worked perfectly for us. At the end of the night (actually technically the wee hours of the next morning) we took the monorail back to get our car.
