Need Cheep Airline Ticket ... HELP

I need a ticket from IND to LAS for March 29-April 1 (I know, spring break.) Everything I see is really HIGH!!
SouthWest has one but its $439 (one person round trip )
Anyone have any ideas how to go cheeper !!!!!!!

other then buying 6 months ago...At spring break time you are pretty much at the mercy of the airlines for prices.

They only go cheap when they can't fill the plane, they have no trouble filling the planes, hotels, or rental cars over spring break so no cheap prices.

The only idea I would have would be try a day in the middle of the week, but I don't think you'll find anything "cheap" at that time of the yr.

I'm sure this doesn't help, but I found flying on Tuesday was cheaper. I was able to get 4 round trip tickets from DTW to MCO for July24-31 for $49 each way through usairway.

I have to go to Florida to see my sister this month and the cheapest I could get was $170 each way from Albany, NY to Orlando.. Way more than I'm used to paying - or wanted to pay - but March and April prices are crazy!

Check www.kayak.com which includes the discount airlines. You might also show flexibility on your dates and/or departure airport (f the drive is not excessive).
