Hi everyone. Even though we're Disney veterans, I need some help. Can anyone recommend some things to do at Disney to make my dd's birthday more special. These are the things that we usually do.

Have party in room with presents.
Get phone call from Goofy at town hall.
Get button at town hall.

that's it....pathetic huh?
Any ideas would be great. I saw that someone had a personalized menu made for their daughter at the living seas restaurant, also someone had a birthday card signed by all of the characters... People's creativeness amazes me...LOL

So glad to try and help you out!
**First...best deal ever for girly girls...Magic Kingdom Barber Shop(Main Street)...Pixie hair-do with special castle, cindi carriage, and mickey shaped pixie dust! They spray her hair(my daughter had enough for a pony-tail) and they will let her pick out her favorite color of hair gel. Way cute, DD10 just loved it and she is thought she might be too "old" for that kind of thing. And you will never guess the $$$ 8 bucks(it may have been only 5-don't really remember)!!!!!!! Of course, we tipped our hair dresser! Then as soon as you leave there..go directly to the first(I think he was first) CM with the photopass camera and have him take a pic of her. He centered her so the castle was behind her,had her hold her hands together(as if she was trying to hold something) and had her look down into her hands....yep, when we got home and looked at them on line...tinkerbell was sitting in her hands, just like he said. Back to the hair do...we spent half day at MK and over to Epcot for dinner--2 teenagers followed us until we stopped, just to ask where we had her hair done! She thought that was way cool. Everyone asked us all day.

2nd*** Coral Reef Rest.(Epcot)*** My Travel agent did all the arrangements so I don't know where to call. But, for FREE you can have a scubba diver...dive down and hold up a happy birthday sign with your child's name on it....I was expecting something large..about the size of a legal sheet of paper. she was amazed and the diver made sure he got her attention and the entire restraunt oohed and ahhhed. They also gave us a paper copy of the menu with "happy 10th birthday Molly Beth" on the inside. Great memory to scrapbook.

3rd*** ride the monorail and ask(wait for the next train if you need too) to ride in the front. We did this several times on our trip and we all enjoyed it...you probably already know this, since you are a frequent flyer. We happen to ride from MK to Epcot during the firworks...way cool...you get a great view of Epcot fireworks and the driver even slowed down a little so we could see more..I'm sure he could tell how excited we were!

***Of course, her BDay will be grand as long as she is at the Happiest Place on Earth...I would be.

Happy Birthday! Have a great trip!

For my DD 6th birthday, she and mommy went to the tea party in the GF. It was expensive, about 200. But she received a tiara, a bracelet, and an american girl type doll dressed in a Princess Aurora dress. They made a big fuss over the girls, most of whom wore princess dresses. They also Made a special notice of birthday girls. It was a once in a lifetime event for us so to me it was well worth what I paid for it.

Maybe take her one day to get her hair all done up at Bippity Boppity botique to dress all up like a princess for her birthday. :thumbsup2

Or the main street one is great too. My dd had her first hair cut there and it was great.
