It'll be my daughter's 13th bd the day after we arrive at OKW (7/23). Long ago they used to give you a free carrot cake if you let them know ahead of time. I understand that perk went away.

Any recommendations on where to order one from? Olivia's? Used to be a place over in the Disney Institute that had a chocolate cake to die for.

A couple of years ago, our DD had a birthday while we were at WDW and we ordered a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery. We stopped by there to order, but I am sure you could call ahead of time. We then went to pick it up ourselves, because we weren't sure when we would be ready for it that day. I think they told us they would deliver it to a resort though. Not sure about that, but it rings a bell they offered delivery.

Good Luck and our cake was delicious.

Raining in Illinois and I wish I was at SSR!

We just came back from Disney and I pre-ordered my DD's birthday cake from the Boardwalk Bakery. If you pre-order, you have many choices, unlike just picking up something on the same day. I called them a week ahead of time and picked out the fillings and color of the words and the decoration (all Disney Princesses on top!!). It is the smallest cake they have for $13 something. It was a good cake, I dropped it off at Kona Cafe before we went over there for lunch (while the kids were on the pirate cruise).

I also checked out Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian, but decided on the Boardwalk Bakery because of the selections are much wider.

Enjoy!!

Usually, the grab-n-go at each resort will have a b-day cake inside the refridgerators.
