Need answers to A.R.T questions?

I have never used the Anaheim bus system to get to the parks, what is it like?
What hours does it run, how often?
Is it better to just walk?
I was thinking of staying at the Marriot Residence inn and they said they have a stop right in front of the hotel, anyone ever used it?
I like to get to the parks early, 1 hour before opening and I like to stay late at DTD will ART hinder this?
