(Can you tell I'm nervous)

Ok. We currently have resies at POR for 02/20-02/25. I would like to get an AP rate for POR if I can. If I can't get an AP rate for POR I would like to see about getting one for our dates at AKL. (Our dates are locked as we already have airline tickets).

I was told to go the "make a new reservation" route through the voice mail at CRO.

What exactly do I say? Then, how do I get the deposit on our current resie transferred to any new AP resie I am able to make?

Thanks for any help,
Robin

I would say "I would like to check availability for an AP rate for 2/20 to 2/25 at ______________". Then if they have the AP rate say, "I already have a reservation, can I transfer the deposit". I wouldn't waste a call until you see that rates are available for your dates either on here or mousesavers. They usually release them by season, so the next ones to be released may only be for 1/1 to 2/11.

To avoid confusion, make sure you say "Annual Pass" and not "AP". Sometimes the abbreviations throw them

DebbieB, I agree with you. We had AKL booked with Military rate and I caught wind that AP rate was cheaper....so I just called up and told them I had ressies with Military rate, could they check to see if AP was cheaper and available. It took them a little bit to finagle, but they figured out that yes AP was cheaper and available to the room I had booked. This was for our trip we just took two weeks ago.
