I have`nt visited you all for many days...I started my new job on Monday, it seems okay, but its very boring...Everyone is really nice though..(.Guess i`m just not into it yet.)...I now have a problem though...After working at our local primary school for the past 7years...I got the office job that i started on Monday...Now another job that i applied for (Special needs) in a secondary school , as asked me to attend an interview next Monday...What should i do????  Do you think i should go for the interview???

If that is something you really would like to do, go on the interview! There is no shame in leaving a job after only a short time for a better one, or because it is just not working out. Good luck!!!

This is a hard one - if you feel like this other job could make you happier and you may like it more, then I would go for the interview (if you can do it in a way in which your current employer will not find out).

If you think that you will "grow" into your new job, I would skip the interview. It really depends on what you can see yourself doing more and which would make you happier.

Good Luck which ever decision you make!!

I definately think you should go for the interview! Keep you options open! If you really don't like the office job, and don't go for the interview, you will be wondering for the rest of your life, "what if". Go for it, it's just an interview! Go on you lunch hour or see if you can go before or after work.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Can you schedule your interview for a different time? Tell them you have a new position and can't et off and if they have a different time. There is no gurantee you may get this job so why jeperdise(sp?) the job you do have.

keep all your doors open .. going for interview i think would be a wise choice if you dont you may always wonder

Go for the interview you just might get the position because your currently working.

Thanks for the advice guys you`ve really helped...I am going go for it....I`ve arranged to go at lunch time on Monday...:teeth:
