This Christmas will my first a WDW. We are planning on going to Universal for the first 2 days(get it out of the way). We are planning the first week of Dec.
Is that a good week or is it busy? And is the MVMCP going on at taht time?
I am so excited I can hardly wait!!!

Yes MVMCP is going on by then, and it shouldn't be too busy...the further into Dec. you get, the busier.

Great time to go....crowds are low and the MVMCP is on.....It really gets you in the Christmas spirit....You'll love it.

Fun time to go. You might plan to hit Disney about the 19th. We started there on the 19th before we took our cruise and the crowds were minimal. We even visited MK a lot and the crowds there were very bearable.

We went the first week in December this past season and it was wonderful :dancer: There were little waits for all attractions, I believe the longest wait was about 10 min. They were not even offering the fast pass service. ::yes::

If you have not yet decided where you arer going to stay and if your budget will allow you, check into the Wilderness Lodge. It is simply beautiful when decorated for the holiday season.

The MVMCP is not to be missed. As a matter of fact, we went to 2 of them so we could enjoy all the attractions.

Have a great day

A comment on MVMCP if you choose to go later in Dec. We went this year from the 17-23 of Dec. We went to the party on the last night - the 17th. Well, the next week, all the things we did at the party were going on during regular hours. Consider this before you dish out the extra money. The only thing we got special at the party was a cookie and hot chocolate....mind you, it was really good hot chocolate and a yummy cookie, but not worth the price of the ticket when we could see all the shows, parade, snow, etc. for free the next week. SO....moral of the story, if you are going to be around while the parties are going on AND after....dont' pay for the parties, you can do all the same stuff once the parties stop. On the other hand...if you are going beginning of Dec. like the original post said, the parties would be the only time to see all the Christmas stuff, and worth it.
