Obviously I am not a teen, but I need a teens advice. I have a daughter soon to be 11 years old. We have been to Disney a lot. We try to do something new each time. She has outgrown the princesses, but is not old enough for most of the tours. Is there something special I could do with her this next trip before she gets too old to be seen with her mother. Any suggestions?

hmm thats a hard one to think of =/ ... she would probally enjoy blizzard beach disney water park but that gets a little expensive. At downtown disney they have DisneyQuest ( http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/de...&s_kwcid=TC|12588|DisneyQuest||S|e|6199551874 ) I LOVED this place they have all kinds of games and such.
Also when i was around 11ish i was too old for the bippity boppity boutique so my mother just bought me the makeup from it and did her own 'big girl makeover' i remember being really happy about it. Also somthing special my parents did when i was around that age, they let me bring a friend along for the trip. Well hope this helps :)

Disney Quest !!!! It is my teenage daughters favorite thing at Disney !!!

Just took my 11 year old daughter and 13 yr old son in July 2010. They both loved, loved loved Hoop De Doo - thought it was hilarious. They also both really enjoyed Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

You can also look at the YES program. Disney has special classes in the parks for specific age groups. You can enroll your daughter as an individual (certain dates only) and get the discounted YES park tickets for the whole family.

This is a difficult age to find something "special" to do. For me, something I always enjoyed was going with my mom to one of the spas(I went to the Grand Floridian's) and got manicures and pedicures. I always had a lot of fun doing that. Hope this helps!

We can't afford to bring along a friend for her. Plus, we would never get any time with her if we did. We've done hoop de doo and they all loved it. We are definitely planning on the water parks. We have only been to Disney Quest once, so she may want to do that. I know my son will. He loves video games. I'm not sure she would be a big fan of a mani/pedicure. What about the Sea raycers? Would she be old enough for these? She isn't in to girly things too much. I thought this might appeal to her. So far she is most looking forward to being on the adult dining plan this time. She is a great eater and never really cared for the kids meals. Would she be allowed in to JellyRolls or someplace like it if she were with me? She might enjoy the atmosphere. What about the boardwalk, we have never been over that way, is there anything interesting over there?

My grandmother took took me to the luau at the Polynesian before it was REALLY cool and the food was really good too :)

The last time I went I was 11. My family got a package that included the two water parks, and the Disney Quest. The water parks were very cool but I had a 3 year old brother so we only spent 4 hours but we did a lot. But then we went to the hotel changed relaxed went to dinner and then went to Disney Quest. Disney Quest has EVERYTHING! It's a lot of games and there was a couple interactive things my mom and I did together.

Hmmm, tough one. Maybe bring her shopping one day at DTD. I know i used to do that with my mom. Then maybe go out for lunch somewhere. Another fun thing i like doing with my family is Mini Golfing. It's so fun and the atmosphere of both mini golf places on preoperty are so cute!

I would take her out for a day and let her pick what she wants to do. When i go to Disney it gets boring following what my parents say. I also would spend quality time with her, sometimes just being with the ones you love is fun. Hope this helps :)
