Hi Everybody! :wave2:

I missed everyone here been a minute since I posted, but I have a dilemma...

My last 10 trips to DW have been just me and DH, its become our special place and I am a hopeless Disney nut. However, my best friend wants me to go with her for a week in September, and while I would love to go, not sure how it would be without him....havent even mentioned the idea to him. Mind you we have a trip planned for December. Money isnt the issue, just an emotional thing. Sorry if this sounds stupid to anybody, just would love to hear what you have to say.
Thanks!!!

i think you should ask him and see how he feels about it....and how do you feel about it??? it might be fun for you and your friend to go and experience it together....you might see it a different way than you do with your hubby...no reason you cant have fun with your friend too..but i would talk it over with him first...

I can sympathize with you, I am not sure if I could go with out my hubby, but IF you talk to him and he is okay with it? I would go
and have fun. You would be surprised how "free" you feel when you are alone. and I dont mean to "seek" others i just mean you can sometimes feel like you can just relax and not have to do things for your husband, am I making any sense here??

and absence makes the heart grow fonder, so you can "make" it up to him when you get back home. Sometimes it does wonders for your marriage to have a few days away!!

goodluck::yes::

Unless your DH would be hurt by you going without him, I'd definitely consider going. I would, though, keep some things for only when you are there with DH. For example, some favorite restaurants or other "traditions" that you do with DH each visit should be avoided when not with him. Make sure to ask him which things he wouldn't want you to do without him so you don't overlook something you didn't realize was so important to him.

I agree with the previous posters, talk it over with your hubby and see how he feels about it and go from there. :)
