Need Advice- Time to Workout?!??!?!

Hi WISH-ERS!! I need some help. How do you make time to work out every day?? I am having a hard time finding the time to do so. I'm up at 6am making breakfast and lunch for DH (and myself), am out the door at 6:45am, am at work until 5pm, and don't get home until 5:30pm, then have to make dinner... so we're cleaned up around 6:30pm, then I have to work on my part time job until 8pm or so, and by then, I'm exhausted and working on getting ready for the day tomorrow, not to mention doing laundry, and cleaning a bit around the house.

Any advice??!?!?! HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!
 
I bring my gym clothes with me to work and go on the way home. It means I eat a little later but I don't care. I do the same for running sometimes but I also will head out for a run late in the evening after eating and allowing the food to settle. Many times, especially in the summer, I don't even go out until after dark.

Perhaps your husband can make dinner some nights so you can either to go the gym or run right after work.

I think I'll be able to at my next job. Right now I'm a receptionist so I can't eat at my desk, but I start a new job Jan 31 and I have my own office (:cool1:) so I hopefully will be allowed to do that. Great idea. I feel like there sometimes are just not enough hours in the day!!!!

That's exactly what I did. I only had about a 30 minute workout, so I tried to really work hard and make the workout really count.
 
I get up at 5:30 every day, let the dogs out and feed dogs & cats. The I then work out for about 1/2 hr. I then eat breakfast and get ready for work I usually leave around 7:15 each :yay: morning. In the evening I work out late somes around 10 even up to around 11:30. DH goes to work at 11. I find I sleep so much better at night this way. Been doing this since last July lost 38 pounds this way.:goodvibes
 
What type of excercize do you like to do?

I find it best (for me) to workout first thing in the morning, otherwise life just gets too busy and it's hard to fit it in later.

Generally, I'll wake up around 4:30 am, eat a small amount of fruit (I can't workout on an empty stomach!) while I check email (and Dis!;) )then get into workout clothes and start around 5 am. My workouts last approx. 1 hr-1.5 hrs, depending on what I do that day, so after I shower and dress I am "ready for the day" no later than 6:45.

Can your Dh help you with breakfasts/lunches (maybe he does one, you do the other)? Or maybe do as much of the "prep work" the night before so you have time to workout in the morning?
 
Also don't forget to work out on the weekends. If you can swing that and work out twice during the week that would make it 4x/week. That might take some pressure off to exercise every day during the week and maybe in your mind make it more doable? Even a walk right after dinner (someone else can do the dishes?) for 20-30 mins is nice... You can do it!
