Will be my 2 grandson's 3 & 5 & 3 teenage nieces first trip. My 3 kids & son in law also be along. My family loves to camp, nieces not so much but hey it's a trip to WDW, that they could never do if I don't take them. I have a 10 man tent. Are the sites big enough for it & is there anything special/extra I need to bring? I don't plan on cooking anything but coffee & smores. What about tarps/screen room? If I fly can we use magical express from the airport? Is there a loop I should request & do we really need a golf cart? Any and All advice will be greatly appreciated.

Wow, sounds like a fun trip planned!
Given the size of your group and the diversity in ages, you might think about a 5 man tent for the teenage girls. (they are gonna bring a lot of stuff ;)) If you are experienced tent campers then you should have a pretty goood idea of what you need to bring.

I have to admit, I'm not sure I could tackle trying to fly with camping gear. Just bedding and tents alone would be more than I could manage through the airport.

Someone else will have to chime in with regard to sites and which tents will fit.

Good luck

I came to this post from seeing your post about tickets and how the WPF&M works but wanted to comment about your camping arrangement.

It sounds like you are trying to put 10 people in a 10 person tent which in no way is going to work even with some of the people being small kids.

Where are you planning on putting all your stuff? A 10 person tent means some tent designer took the foot print and figured out how to place ten sleeping bag sized rectangles in the area, but there will be no room for clothes and based upon your other post you plan on staying 10 days.

Also I don't think the teen aged girls are going to want to sleep with everyone else.

I also can't see how you are going to fly with a tent and sleeping gear. ME should handle everything, but I hope you are flying South West because I see a lot of extra bag fees.

As for a screen room I never liked them because with my family it would get opened and closed 100 times a day. We have a 12' x 12' dining canopy that goes over the table and gives you some shade and protection from the rain.

One other tip I would post in the main camping forum as it gets more traffic. If you posted there you have tons more responses.
