Our latest addition was a souvenier from a cruise last fall ;) and we had already gotten rid of all of our baby things from our older two. So..... I need a good stroller to take to the World in September. Does anyone have suggestions on a good model that folds down easily but will transistion from an infant stroller to a toddler stroller?
BTW I cant believe how baby stuff have changed/improved since we had our daughter 6 years ago, especially car seats... amazing!

My "babies" are now 2 and 4, but we've been taking them to WDW since they were infants. If I were going with a baby now, I'd take a Peg Perego Pliko/P3. The P3 is the newer version of the Pliko and it has a snack tray, but you can sometimes on an older version that just has the bar in front. I think either is good for your purposes. It has a nice, full recline and very cushy fabric. It has a decent basket and a HUGE sunshade (it can fold all the way down to the front bar). But the best part for WDW is that it folds really small and is very lightweight compared to most "full featured" strollers. The new P3s can be pricey, but if you can find an new non-P3 model or a gently used one, you can save a ton. We had the old Pliko version and it was a dream at WDW when our kids were babies.

Good Luck!

Have you checked out strollerswap on Yahoo Groups? It's a great place to find some used strollers and save yourself some $ for a character meal or some souvenirs. :)

Personally I am a Maclaren Vogue fan because of my long legs (I'm 6 feet tall) and I tend to have a long stride which means I "kick" the back of strollers. If you are not vertically overendowed like I am, you may be better off with a basic Combi Savvy stroller like this one:

I would also go with a Maclaren. Terrific strollers. Wish I had seen these many many years ago. Just bought one for my 6 1/2 yr. old for our Disney trip and wish I had one 15 1/2 years ago when my first was born!!

I'm also a big Peg Perego P3 fan for the little ones. Our DS still rides in his at 3yo and 42" tall, but his legs are too long for it so I'm getting something new for our trip in the fall (haven't figured out what yet). Cushy, good sun protection, not tippy (Maclarens tip if you take baby out while a diaper bag is on the handlebars), good storage, folds relatively small, not too heavy.

Another Peg Perego Pliko P3 fan. The Pliko also has a running board on the back for an older child and stands when folded. My 40 lb 6 year old can hop on the back if she's real tired after a long day in the parks.

Not trying to take over the thread--but it's related for all these expensive strollers that are being recommended...

How do you bring your stroller on the plane without it getting damaged?

We gate check with bad luck. Any tips? :goodvibes

(We have a Zippy Inglesina that I really want to take.)
