So here I am listening to my TV. The picture went yesterday and being optimistic I thought that maybe it would return:lmao: No such luck. So I need some help on a decent TV that is very much budget oriented. I do not need anything fancy.(The broken one is a 20" Panasonic that I bought for the summer olympics in 1990!!) I think I got my monies worth.(It was 300.00)
I would like to keep it around the same size. Any input would be appreciated!!:thumbsup2

I purchased a 32 LCD before Christmas. I went with the intention of getting a Sony or an LG, but both salespeople at Future Shop and BestBuy steered me towards Samsung. A 20" LCD will cost you around $249 . I also saw a 26" RCA LCD at Canadian Tire for $369. Shop around and some places will give you an extra 10% off if you can bring in a flyer with a lower advertised price of an appliance.

If you go with a 20" 16 x 9 television you will wind up with a smaller display. You'll need around a 32' 16 x 9 to keep the same picture size.

You might still be able to find some 20" tube TV's around.

Just before christmas we purchased a 40inch Samsung LCD 1080i... its GREAT!!! got the blu-ray thrown in for free.

Costco has a bunch, and offers a 90 day return policy, where you can basically try it for 90 days and return it if you don't like it.
