Need advice on how to book 2 rooms for 2 families and a few other questions....

Last night we finalized plans to got to WDW at the end of July. Our friends will just be paying us to use our points. I have lots of questions. You'd think I was a newbie. I've never made dual reservations before! I also want to book ASAP and would like to do this online today or tomorrow. (I work today so not easy to call)

1) When I make the reservations, do I list their names on the other room? Do all names have to be given at time of booking? (2 of the kids will be bringing friends and that hasn't been worked out yet as to who is actually going.)

2) Can building number requests be noted with online reservation, or do I need to call Member Services?

3) I have points from 2014 and 2015 to use but I need to borrow a few from 2016 to have enough points for two 2 BR. This is OK, isn't it? Again, can this be done online?

4) Can Dining Plan be added at a later date? Not sure on this....

5) Is Member Services open on MLK?

I just did the same and made separate reserv for their room under their address, email etc so they can add that to there MDE and customize their bands and order ME if not renting car

The occupants of each room need to be listed on the reservation based on the room they will be staying in. You can add/remove names at any time.

Can't be done during the on-line booking process. You can call or use either the chat or contact us features on the member website to add requests.

Borrowing can be done during the on-line booking process. Banking must be done prior to starting the on-line booking process.

4) Can Dining Plan be added at a later date? Not sure on this

It can be added/removed any time up to 2 days prior to arrival date. Must be paid for in full at the time it's added to the room reservation(s).

5) Is Member Services open on MLK?

No.

As long as your Use Year is February, March, April or June you will be able to borrow from your 2016 Use Year since a July, 2015 stay will be in your 2015 Use Year. For a stay in this Use Year, you may use points banked from your 2014 Use Year, your current 2015 Use Year points and points borrowed from your 2016 Use Year ... and since you are already within 7 months, you may purchase up to 24 One-Time-Use points from MS.

If you have an August, September, October or December Use Year a July, 2015 stay is still in your 2014 Use Year and points banked from your 2013 UY, 2014 UY and points borrowed from your 2015 UY (plus On-Time-Use points) may be used.
