We just got back from celebrating DS's 4th birthday...here is what we experienced:
1. Boma - Max got a card from the staff signed in different African languages and a Mickey cake with frosting, Mickey sprinkles, gummy bears, and a chocolate "happy birthday" on the plate.
2. Trails End - Mickey rice krispie bar with a candle and a card
3. Chef Mickeys - cupcake and candle, placemat
4. Cape May Cafe - chocolate mousse dessert cake, candle and everyone sang Happy Birthday
5. 1900 Park Fare breakfast - cupcake and candle, placemat and prince crown - everyone sang Happy Birthday
6. Liberty Tree Tavern lunch - they sprinkled pixie dust and ribbons on the table, sang Happy Birthday, and we ordered a cake for him ($12.50)
7. 'Ohana - cupcake and candle, sang Happy Birthday in Hawaiian
It was wonderful - the only thing we planned on was the cake at Liberty Tree Tavern and that was because I ordered it ahead of time. You can do that at any restaurant. We also took Max to Kona Cafe one afternoon and ordered a kiddie kone for him - a waffle cone filled with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, M&M's, a chocolate Mickey...all stuck to the plate with chocolate and surrounded by cotton candy and more M&M's. He absolutely loved it - I would think both of your children would enjoy that! If you want to see one go to the food photos thread and do a search - it's really a neat kid dessert.
