Need advice new pin collector

so my DD is getting into pins she loves it so far. I know pins are sold everywhere in the parks. My question is I know they release pins every month new sets and LE ones how do you find them? Are they randomly thought out the parks and you just get lucky or do they sell them at one place any advice would be great

They release new pins almost weekly, some times they're LE and sometimes they're open editions. There really isn't any way to figure out all of the pins being released anymore, but you can get a listing (and images) of some on the Disney Pin website (official). They mostly only post announcements of the LE pins being released on a given day (new pins usually come out on Thursdays). Once in the parks or DTD, head to the major pins shop and you'll usually see an area that features "New Releases". You can also ask the CM at the pin shop and they can point them out to you. Each park and DTD has one major pin shop and that's the best location to find LE and new pins (most shops also do carry some pins, but it might not always be the LE or new pins).

If you have time and patience, pinpics.com is another good source of pin information. It's not the easiest site to use (or search), but it can help you identify existing pins.
