I'm a Disney fan however the kids are getting older and as a result, I will be trying US and IOA for the first time in April. Also want to try Seaworld. I'm looking for the most affordable ticket option. Will be staying 7 nights at HRH. I was thing a three park unlimited through undercover tourist and an AAA one day seaworld with meal. If I feel I am missing Disney I can go get a one day hopper at the gate. Does this sound right? :confused3

Any tips besides bringing a cooler:guilty:

I'm in a similar boat - doing seaworld and universal this trip instead of Disney. Every other trip has been all Disney. Trying to figure out what tickets I want to buy. Probably going to buy my tickets through Undercover Tourist through the Mousesavers Newsletter link. I think I am buying the Universal buy 2 get a 3rd day free for $126.79 adult/116.95 child and a Seaworld/aquatica ticket that says it is good for unlimited 14 days admission for $113.95 adult/$105.95 child. We also are going to do Legoland, so I will have to buy those tickets also, but that will be off the Legoland website with a BOAdultGOChild ticket code.

Undercover Tourist is probably going to be your best bet for discounted tickets. Keep in mind that Disney and Universal do not discount single day admissions so your trip to the MK for one day is going to be expensive. If you are missing Disney, you might want to consider spending some time at DTD and it's free.

I found Costco to be the cheapest if you want to park hop. Of course if that doesn't matter to you the UT tix are probably cheaper for you.

For 4 park to park passes I paid:
$539.96 (134.99 each)

For comparison: (3 adult, 1 child)
$594.31 buy 2 get 1 expires June, 2013 from Universal Website
$602.80 regular 3 day from Undercover Tourist
$647.48 regular 3 day ticket from Universal Website

BTW When i checked my MouseSaver link to Undercover Tourist the prices were the same as just going to UT directly.

If I was going to be at a Universal hotel for 7 days, I would be getting passes that allowed me to visit each of the 7 days. I would go with the 3 park, 14 day ticket, from Undercover tourist. This includes Wet n Wild and park hoppers to the Universal parks for 14 days in a row. SeaWorld tickets I'm not sure about...we've always just purchased them online from their website and often it included another day free, which is great when you will be there for 7 days.

You can bring a small softsided cooler into the parks.

If anyone looking for tickets is going for 10-14 days look at the Orlando flex tickets. they are good for unlimited entry for 14 days into universal/IOA/ wet n wild / sea world/ and aquatica. Prices were right around $270 for an adult on UT. They also had tickets that included Busch gardens for a little more
