Need advice for preggo!

To make a long story short my husband and I just found out we are 6 weeks preggers (we've been married for 2 months!) and we had to cancel our January 8 night Southern Caribbean Cruise.

We are more than thrilled about our little surprise but are now faced with planning a different honeymoon!

We've never been to Universal and I was looking for some advice from peeps who have been to both Universal and Disney. Which theme park has more/better rides and shows for a pregnant woman? US or WDW?

congrats! might want to check w/OB to make sure she agrees with flying in your 7th month.

are really you sure you want to be walking around an amusement parkleast it won't be hot. Most rides have long lists of those who shouldn't ride and i doubt TMs or CMs would let you ride if prohibited when visibly pregnant for liablility reasons anyway.

If you stay onsite @ Universal, you'll have FOTL perc & there is plenty to do there that won't rattle you, but you'll miss out on many of the best rides. I ask if you'd feel deprived walking past them & not being able to enjoy them?

Suggest you pick up a good guidebook that goes into detail as to agressiveness of the rides in both parks (Unofficial Guide or Passporter) before you decide.

WDW (especially MK has many attractions that would suit you) with the exception of the MK mountains. I'd avoid @ MGM- RNR, TOT too, don't think star wars will be open in Jan; EPcot - Crash Test & Mission Space ride, perhaps even maelstrom; AK - Everest, Rapids Ride, Dinosaur & anything else in dinoland.

You might want to look into exploring SeaWorld for a day, doing bluemen or Cirque, even driving over to KSC if that's your thing or the beach (although the water will be cold).
