We have reservations for 5 nights at the Park Vue Inn. It's running right around $100/night plus tax or so.
Turns out, we're going to be in the area a day earlier than we had planned. I called to see if our room would be available a day earlier at the Park Vue Inn. They don't have our room available (a queen with a set of bunkbeds), but they have another room that is two queens. So, if we stayed there, we'd stay one night in the two queens and then move to the room with the bunkbeds. That would be about $100 +tax.
Or, we could stay that first night at the Anaheim Plaza instead, for $59 +tax and save $40.
Part of me says it's a hassle to stay at a different hotel for one night, but part of me says it's pretty much the same thing, because we'd still have to switch rooms at the Park Vue, although we wouldn't have to load up the car and all of that.
What would you do? Save the money and spend one night at the AP, or just switch rooms at the PVI?
