Hello :)

I am still trying to decide whether to book with Delta, or AmericanAirlines for our cruise in August. For this particular question, price will be put aside.

Here's my situation:

AA ONLY offers ONE non-stop flight from Boston to Orlando, on the dates we need to travel. I am worried that if those flights get overbooked, or very delayed, that we'll get stuck on a flight with more stops. I have a moderate fear of flying. It does not keep me from flying, but I will only book non-stop flights because of this.

AA has better flight TIMES than Delta does. This is why I am considering AA. Delta has many non-stop flights from Boston to Orlando on our travel dates.

Should I book AA because they have the better flight times, even though they only offer ONE non-stop flight? Those are the flights I'd book. It's strange to look on AA's web site and see only ONE choice of non-stop flight, for those days. :confused3

Can anyone give me more info, if you've flown non-stop on AA. Or should I just stick with Delta??? :earboy2:

Have you tried Jet Blue? They have quite a few different non-stop times going out of Boston. That is who we are using in Feb/Mar.

I didn't think of Jet Blue before, so thanks :) I just checked their web site and they are almost $200 more than either Delta or AA. Price isn't a big consideration, but their flight times were very similar to Delta's and AA's.

We have always flown AA from DFW to MCO, and it's a non-stop, they have several a day. AA has always been reliable for us on both ends leaving and or coming home being on time. Personally, with Delta in "re-organization" mode, and my past luck with them, I don't fly them now.

Its up to you. Delta will obviously have most options if you are delayed, either routing you on another flight or through atlanta where they have hourly flights to MCO.

Matt
