Need ADR advice and help!!

My parents and my family will be visiting WDW Oct 6-12. I booked our reservations together, but have seperate reservations. Obviously we will be doing the dining plan and all meals together. Since I am the one making the ADR's, Do I have to have both confirmation/reservation numbers to book the ADR's or do I just use mine? Any experience or help is appreciated. Thanks.

We just booked our ADR's for our family of 5 and my parents. Same situation. We booked both rooms/packages but they are on a separate reservation. We will be dining as a total party of 7. We only gave them our ressie number when booking our ADR's and they never asked for my parents.
