Need a ticket for City Walk / touring plan

How many days of tickets do I need? We are arriving on a Sept Saturday about 5pm, staying at Hard Rock, and leaving Tuesday am for WDW. That gives us 2 full days to check out the parks. Thinking City Walk Saturday evening, US on Sunday, and IOA on Monday. Sat & Sunday are both HHN nights, and we are not doing that. Planning on evenings in the pool or City Walk. How many days of tickets do I need for that? Will I want single park or 2 park passes as the parks close at 5 and 7 pm in Sept?

if you buy the 2 park 2 day tickets, you can move from one park to another.
i suggest the hopper tickets so if a specific ride is down for a time period, you can catch rides in the other park and then return later.

if you are at the studios that sunday, it can start to have crowds around 2:00.
peeps come in early before the park closes at 5:00 to catch the rides.

not all rides are open during hhn.


if you had hoppers, you could start at the studios on sunday and then leave for ioa later in the day.
ioa should be open to 7:00 that sunday.


check out the uo website and see which major and minor rides you want to do.

if you feel that each park has equal number of things to fill the day, you can do the one day tickets.

i haven't looked at the price charts in sometime as i use the ap to get in the parks.

see if you buy the 2 park 2 day tickets or the 2 day base tickets would be cheaper than buying single day tickets.

there are no discounts on single day tickets but you do catch a break when you buy multi day passes.

I would recommend two days and if you purchase multi-day tickets, the CityWalk party pass is included. This will save you the cover charges at the clubs.

As far as park hours go...the Studios has to close an hour early to set up for HHN that night and IOA closes at 7pm mainly because it's a slow period. If HHN isn't being staged, the Studios closes at 6pm.
