I need a table service restaurant for a Magic Kingdom night. I have BOG already in plans for one night. I don’t like the menu for Skipper Canteen. So out of Tony’s, LLT, or Plaza Inn, which would you choose? We aren’t interested in CRT as we have already done that. Thanks!

We liked LTT though I haven’t been to the others.

I would go with Liberty Tree Tavern out of those but I would encourage you to take a short break and go to The Wave or Kona Cafe. A short walk/monorail ride for much better food.

It is going to be July 3rd and we don’t really want to leave the park. We will actually be going to a different park in the morning.

We have only been to the Plaza. We thought the food was good, they had large portions, and it's not to expensive.

For 4th of July I would absolutely go with LTT unless you already have another large meal scheduled that day for breakfast or lunch. If you already have a large breakfast or lunch scheduled I would go with The Plaza. While we really enjoy LTT I feel like it is a very "heavy" meal, even if you really limit your portions. There are several lighter options at The Plaza or you can easily split something there.

We went with LTT when we needed to add a MK meal. We'll be eating there on 23/12, so I will let you know!

We tried LTT and didn't like it at all. The food tasted very processed and our waiter was horrible. You might have a different experience, but we were a party of 2 and were given last priority to larger parties while eating. A lot of people put terrible reviews about Tony's, but we tried it the same trip that we tried LTT and thought it was decent. Is it the best Italian food ever? No. We still liked it more than LTT and it was a good choice for a last minute decision.

For July 3rd? You only have one choice Liberty Tree. I still miss the character M&G they had there.

Do all the other table service places close down on July 3? If not, any of them are options.

There's also Crystal Palace, but we've never done dinner there. Out of those I'd pick LTT

I would say if you are big eaters then liberty tree would be the way to go if not then the Plaza.

Depends how adventurous you are. We ate at LTT in October. Good comfort food, nothing special, but done well. Bigger fan of Jungle Cruise Skipper Cantina. Great menu and really enjoy all the bad Jungle Cruise joke from the staff.

DH and I just recently put LLT back on our list. But we prefer lunch, as there is a A la carte menu, and we prefer a lighter fare, then the platter...while good its just to heavy for us. I am a local and have celebrated the 4th of July in MK... and its soooo crowded... and hot and beyond humid, people were passing out while we were trying to get to the monorail. So I would take into consideration the heat and humidity when picking a dinner spot. We did Crystal Palace around 2:00 ish and then did rides, like the people mover, liberty square riverboat, Tom Sawyer island, Mickey Philharmagic, Monster Inc, Carousel of Progress, and the Railroad, not in that order, but we hit all those, and they are on the milder side. So sometime to let everything digest before hitting up some of the mountains and other rides. We stopped around 8:00 to grab a little something, at a quick serve Rays we split a BBQ sandwich and fries, and got Mickey ice cream right before the fireworks... and we watched from the Bridge at BOG. We also have done BOG for dinner, and then watched the fireworks from the bridge out in front of the restaurant. We did not even ride a ride that day, just dinner and fireworks...

We love the Plaza solid meal all the way around.

We especially enjoyed LTT but it has been a number of years. You may want to look at the Plaza Restaurant. We went there about a month ago and it was great! We didn't have an ADR but were able to get seated in a reasonable amount of time.

They don't take ADRs at The Plaza do they?
