Solo as well and I have a studio book at OKW on points from 12/10=12/14.. waitlisted for 12/7 - 12/10..

but I think I may have a roomie if I go to POP

I can only speak for myself, but I don't think you stink. Well, you might, I have never sniffed you!

I may be a solo. I am waiting to see what events are planned so I can arrange my travel dates. Depending on what the event is, my DH or sister may be interested in going.

I bumped the post just to remind people that others may be looking for roomies. I think things will gel when we know more about DAP!

He just commented this morning, as I am agonizing over the itinerary and ADR's I'm making on Sunday for our family trip in October, that he loves how "in love" I am with Disney. I think I need to pull out the "how much money do you spend hunting 3x a year" card.

Has anyone considered taking advantage of the free dining promotion - at Pop or a Moderate? I even have the pin for the regular DDP for Pop if it's available. I'm not a huge fan of the Values, but when I go without the family I try to be as cheap as possible - just not too cheap.

Then I think I would be too worried about trying to maximize the value of the DDP if I did it. I also have an AP; rates right now are $54. for Value, $89. for Moderate and $139. for AKL - standard view.

Okay gals...I really want to go to Disapalooza but would have to room with someone to make it financially feasible and persuasive to DH who would be bummed if I went without him! I'm going to look into flights to see what that price tag might be. I know I'm a little late off the mark with this but is there anyone still looking for a roomie?

Part of my wanting to go would be to mark a milestone birthday...I really feel the need to and I can't think of a way that would be more fun, with people of my ilk , Christmas decorations and some cool events! A girl can make her own dreams a reality, right?!

I'm still more of a lurker on the boards then anything else but I have to say I've almost got DH convinced to let me go (the $50 airtran certificates i've scored have helped) but i'd be solo and would love a roommie... I've got DVC points if someone wants to share a room

When I called Member Services a couple weeks ago, only SSR had studios available for that weekend. You may want to make your ressie now to secure the space. You can always cancel before 30 days if you can't go and get your points back.
