need a resource for appliance reviews

Does anyone have a recommendation for a resource to get well-researched reviews of kitchen appliances? I'm going to have to buy several new appliances for our home over the next year. While I'm waiting for sales, I'd like to research brands & specific models so I don't shell out our hard-earned cash on something that's not going to last long.

I guess Consumer Reports is probably a good resource, but are there others that you all have used that have been helpful? The user reviews on the websites for Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, etc. only go so far.

I have used Consumer Reports Online as well as online reviews at Sears, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, and manufacturer-specific sites to purchase a number of new appliances, large and small, within the past year.
