Need a recommendation

I've already got an ADR for our first day, but am thinking about changing it (if possible). We'll be coming in on a Thursday afternoon and won't go to the parks until Friday. What DDP recommendation do you have that would be an entertaining place for the kids? Thx!

Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary is a great option. I've never done the dinner, only the breakfast, but I'm sure the atmosphere is the same. The kids get to see the characters without having to use a park ticket!

For the most fun-go to the Animal Kingdom Resort Boma has great food, and after you can walk around the resort animal watching. They also have a quick service restaurant with Burgers and pizza. Theres also 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian-character dining. I've never eaten there, but my parents took our daughter-they said it was great-enthusiatic character interaction and the food was good. Best of luck!

I would prolly explore some of the restaurant options at DTD for the first night. What resort are you staying at? Many of the resorts have great dining.

How old are your kids?? If ya'll are into sports a really fun place to go is ESPN Club at Boardwalk. A regular stop for us!!

Two suggestions, I would eat on the monorail system. If your not going into the parks you could ride the monorail have something to eat and check out the 3 hotels.

Or, you could go DTD. We used to do this every year when the kids were little. We would grab something to eat, check out Lego Land and walk around.

'Ohana at the Polynesian is a great place to eat and afterwards you can watch the Electric Light Pageant from the beach and if you wait long enough you can even watch Wishes.
