Need a recommendation for CS meal

I am suprising DH w/the Wishes Dessert Party for our anniversary and our date night. Was looking for some CS places to get dinner for just him and I. Earlier that day we will be at DHS and we have 8:00 am ADR for Playhouse Disney Breakfast and 2:30 pm ADR for Sci-Fi. We don't want another TS meal b/c we are planning on stuffing ourselves at the dessert party. The Dessert Party ressie is for 9:00pm. Looking for something close to Magic Kingdom. Any suggestions?

I would just do dinner at MK, CHH maybe for a light sandwhich? They have a really good tuna or hummus sandwich. Also salad, clam chowder or fish and fries or chicken and fries or shrimp and fries..

I would also eat at a CS at MK. We love the taco salad at Pecos Bill's.

CHH has some great lighter options so you don't end up too full before the dessert party. I agree with others, eating a CS at MK is the way to go!

If you choose to stay in MK, I would agree that Columbia Harbour House has some of the best CS choices in the park.

I certainly wouldn't want to fill up before the Dessert party, so I would suggest something quick and easy - like a hot dog from Casey's or a corn dog from a snack cart. Eating at SciFi left us full for quite a while (we had DDP, so we had dessert, too) and I don't think we ate dinner that night.

Another option would be to order ONE cs meal and share it, again, so you don't get full before you get to all those luscious desserts!

Cosmic Rays has always been a favourite with us. plenty of choice from burgers to salads.

I agree. Columbia Harbour House is the perfect place for a lighter dinner. You need to leave some room for the desserts.

I loved the tuna salad sandwich at Columbia Harbour House, and it wasn't a heavy meal at all.

Another vote for Columbia Harbour House!! Split a fried shrimp platter, or a tuna sandwich meal! Yum! Enjoy!
