Hello!

We are coming in at 9pm on 10/14, picking up rental car and just need a place to sleep- will be checking in about 10pm. We are staying at Sheraton Vistana Resorts with check-in on the 15th and can use the ammenities before 4pm (possible 2pm check in.) Checking in Friday night would be $200- I waitedd until this week to see if maybe there was a cancellation or an early departure from the resort, but no such luck- we would have to pay the hotel rate!

We will grab lunch and do some shopping in the afternoon and spend the late afternoon at the pool.

Can you reccomend a CLEAN cheapish hotel for us to stay the night near the airport since we will have 3 girls DD6princess:, DD6princess:, DD4princess:, who will surely fall asleep on a long car ride that late at night.

I am thinking just the Holiday Inn but I am booking blind.

Thanks!

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place before and it was nice and really roomy. I have 3 dd's myself but not that young anymore :). I think it's usually just a little over $100 or so and breakfast included.

Check out travelzoo.com - they usually have some good, last minute deals on rooms around Disney.

Also, check into the Clarion at Lake Buena Vista. We did a quick one night stay there before checking into the Contemporary. Rooms are clean and newly redone and we found a special for about $40 a night. They have a decent breakfast buffet and (I think) kids eat free.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista in similar situations. Very clean and comfortable. They even had Mickey waffles for b-fast in the morning to get you in the Disney spirit.

It's absolutely fine for one night (although I personally wouldn't want to stay there for my whole vacation). One piece of advice - ask for a room facing the parking lot. The rooms that surround the pools and/or face the interstate are really noisy! I can sleep through just about anything and the sound of the cars all night was even annoying to me. :rotfl:
