We have 2 TS credits left, and I'm struggling to find a place to eat at Epcot (that is also available, lol). It's too bad I can't get in to CRT, because that would take care of that.

We have ADR's for San Angel, Akershus, and the Coral Reef. We also have CP booked for a character meal. :)

Le Cellier and Rose and Crown are booked. The kids aren't fans of Asian foods.

Would Garden Grill be too many character meals? We have the Hoop Dee Doo and Spirit of Aloha booked as well.

We ate at Marrakesh last time and thought the food was awful, so I'm not really all fired up to go there again.

Any ideas? I just have these last 2 TS credits to take care of, and I need one at/near Epcot.

We've eaten at a number of places you've noted, but have also enjoyed Biergarten and Les Chefs de France. I haven't eaten there, but Via Napoli gets good reviews. We live in TX so we're kind of picky about Mexican + you've already booked San Angel, but there's always La Hacienda which seems to appeal to diners more than San Angel (although San Angel is very pretty and I can't speak from personal experience on that). You can also keep trying for what you want. It can be a pain to stalk the website, but I have yet to go on a trip to WDW where the stalking for adrs hasn't paid off.

Epcot alternatives to meet you specs:

Biergarten (probably best for you)
. . . entertainment for lunch and dinner (better at dinner)
. . . nice buffet of classical German food
. . . food is pretty authentic, without much Americanization

Garden Grill
. . . characters
. . . good, solid comfort food
. . . not great, not bad food just nice and average

I would try La Hacianda, Via Napoli, or biegarten.

Personally we are not fans of garden grill. Did not like the food.

If you can get roes and crown i would do that also.

I always try and eat somewhere where I can eat at home. Both restaurants in Italy are places that are average back home here in New York so I would not suggest going there unless you really like Italian food and don't have good restuarants where you live. Mexico would be the same, not worth going there unless you check the other ones (like Marakesh etc) off the list like you've apparently done. Having said that I would definately try Chefs De France. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is great. Not sure if they still have Remy there or not but either way I'm pretty sure you won't find a spot like that in your home town.

Biergarten - loved it. Trying Chef's in January. There's also Kouzina near the boardwalk.

You can try walking up to Le Cellier, we got 2 reservations last time just walking up.

Garden Grill has *great* character interaction and is really neat with the spinning restaurant concept. I'd also recommend looking at Biergarten, one of the Italy restaurants, or the Boardwalk area restaurants (seafood buffet at Cape May Cafe, Flying Fish (2 TS credits), etc).

Walk through the back entrance of Epcot and walk to either Cape May Cafe at Beach Club or Captain's Grille at Yacht Club. That would be my first choice.

But if you are looking to stay in Epcot....hmmm... Biergarten would be my first choice. Atmosphere, good food and different seating make this a good choice.

Thanks so much!

I have debated going to the Cape May,but I don't eat seafood. I'm OK if there is a chicken or steak option, though. Not a fan of pork, personally.

My ds is a chicken nugget/hot dog kind of kid, can you get that at Biergarden? Dh does like brats...

I think we're going to add the 1900 Park Fare, or the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast, because the older kids are doing the Pirate Adventure, and it would be fun to do just the 3 of us (dh, dd3 and I). Dd3 is going to be more in to the characters. SoI think that strikes out Cape May. I want a monorail resort character meal, since the kids are launching from the Grand Floridian.

So, how about a monorail resort meal before MVMCP? :) Should we eat in the park or out? I really, really, really want CRT, but I don't think it's going to happen. :(

As a big EPCOT Food and Wine Festival fan it is hard to recommend reservations there. We are doing DD and have reservations at Leceller. I wanted to mention though that with the mono rail and boats from EPCOT you have access to Holliwood Studios, Magic Kingdom as well as several resorts with a round trip of two or so hours.

Teppan Edo would be a great choice and it doesn't really scream "asian food" like the place in China does. The rice served with the meal is plain white rice, no strange spices on it at all.

In addition Teppan is very entertaining!

Good luck deciding......it's always a tough choice!
