Need A Place to Buy Diapers, etc. close to Pop Century?

Well I didn't know quite which board to post this on so if the mods need to move it I understand.

I don't want to pack a huge bag of diapers/wipes with us on the plane so I figured I would bring quite a few and then just buy a pack on our way to the resort from the airport. We might also pick up a few snack items.

Anyone have any suggestions and directions for a good place? I don't want to pay a fortune but I don't want to go out of our way too far either.

are you renting a car or using a car service?
if you stop on the way to PC (I can't believe you're staying there, we'll be there in October, I want a full report!!), we always like the Albertsons on Orange Blossom Trail, it's really easy to get in and out. It's off of the Greenway, the Orange Blossom Trail exit (Duh!) Just get off at the exit and go straight at the light, you'll be in the parking lot for a big strip mall w/a Home Depot and some other stuff, the grocery store is if you turn left in the parking lot. They seem to have decent prices (I think) and it's a really nice store with a lot to choose from.
Just make sure you have some quarters w/you for the on/off toll, there's no person at the booth and I don't want the FL troopers looking for you (if you're driving)!!

Will you have a rental car, or be taking a taxi?

If you are taking a taxi, the closest place would be Publix supermarket, over near the Gaylord Palms. 5 minutes from Pop Century.

It's just off 417/Osceola Parkway, and very close to Pop Century. (It's also on the way to Pop from the Airport)


If you will have your own car, and need directions from Pop Century, just stop by the Luggage desk, we have pre-printed directions to the most popular locations from Pop Century.

A tip I picked up from moussavers.com: If you want to make a grocery stop on the way to your hotel from the airport, a good thing to know is that the Albertson's supermarket at 12981 S. Orange Blossom Trail (Orange Blossom Trail exit from SR 417) will allow you to fax a list to them at (407) 857-0132. They will have your order packed and ready to pick up! You can call them at (407) 857-5666. Give name, phone, arrival time 24-48 hours in advance.

We tried this for our trip in December...it worked out beautifully!! The store was right off the exit from the airport. It took all of 10 minutes at the service desk to get our bags and pay. They were so friendly and all items were correct...the prices were good also. Then we headed straight for Pop Century. It was great!
