My daughter traded for this pin last week at WDW and I cannot find it anywhere on pin pics. Maybe I am not looking in the right catagories but dont know where else to turn if you could help out I would appreciate it. On the back of the pin it says Offical trade pin 2007 and under that it says Limited edition 250 then the disney trademark and china. Thanks for any info you can give.

Thank you so much for finding it. As you can see we are completely new to this and I did not even know what she had until we were going through all the pins she traded for. No telling how many great pins she traded off because she liked the pirate cuties better:rotfl2: Thanks again for the info.

Does anyone else think the background on the pin shown in the thread & the PinPics photo look different? The one in the thread looks to be shinier or something?

The background trees are different. On Pinpics, the trees kind of blend in with the grass.

Oh, man, I almost wish you all hadn't said anything, the mystery pin does look quite a bit different (now that I've taken a closer look at it) from the PinPics one. I tried to find a pic of the pin on the disneypins.com website, but am having no success. Can anyone find a for-sure pic of the actual authorized pin? And does anyone have a pic of the backstamp of the for-sure authorized version?

I mean, either one or the other isn't quite right. There is no way that such huge color variations would take place in such a small Limited Edition production run. I actually kind of like the sparkly one better.
PinPics:
straight-through colors on trees and sky, easy to see flag stars, viewfinder is larger, star on Mickey's cap is filled-in, red steps are a straight-through color, Mickey's pants a bright-Navy blue
OP's pin:
trees & sky almost look sparkly, stars hard to see, viewfinder smaller, colors different - Minnie's shoes more purple than pink, Star on Mickey's cap is not filled in, steps look "sparkly" or multi-colored, Mickey's pants very dark blue

:guilty: ,
agnes!
