need a little magic...please

Hi there,

We just returned from a week at WDW. Upon unpacking all of our things my DD8 realized she left her favorite purchase under her pillow at OKW. ( I only have 2 eyes and cant see everything she does while im packing up). Go figure that mousekeeping did not turn it into the lost and found. We called less than 24hrs after we left there. She is an avid drummer and cried for nearly an hour when she realized she left it there!!! I felt so bad for her.

If anyone going to MK in the next few weeks can pick up a Drumstick in the Mickey Phillharmagic gift shop and mail it to her that would be fantastic!!! They are only $7.50 including tax. I can mail a cashiers check or personal check before you go or after return trip for shipping and drumstick!!

We had a lost item returned to lost and found. It can take more than 24hrs to find it's way there so don't give up just yet. I would try calling them a few more times and you may just get lucky. Once my 7yr old niece left a pink WDW "Princess" cap on the backstage tour ride at MGM sometime mid-trip. I gave L&F a very good description of it down to the flowers on the front and the writing on the back and two weeks after we came home, we got a small package in the mail and it was her cap! I couldn't believe it. So don't raise her hopes, it may very well be gone for good...but may be not.

Another option you might try is to call or email Walt Disney World merchandising directly. Call or email them with a description of the item and the store that you found it in and they will mail it to you. I had them send me a scrapbooking set that I forgot to get while at DTD. They are extremely helpful. It took about 2 weeks to get it.
