Need a great gag White Elephant gift idea

Last year I brought "Elvis in a Box" (a get up to help you look like Elvis) and it was a hit. But this year, I'm stumped. And there's always 2 or 3 Snuggies, so those are out

How about one of those magic wallet things people have been posting about on the Christmas thread? It is a fabric wallet with pictures. Otherwise, I saw a wallet made out of duct tape at a craft fair last week. They were really ugly but would make a perfect gag gift. I almost bought one for DD's friend that LOVES anything duct tape.

One year, at a white elephant party, I was amazed at home much of a fight broke out over a "signed" Neal Diamond photo. I really think that people believed that it was real. I would find a different "star" to use if I did the same thing though. Or maybe take a photo of a friend and have it put on the side of a cup....

Other gifts: A souvenier spoon rack full of plastic spoons. At a large party, someone snuck in a $50. bill! George Foreman grill.

At the parties around here, the stranger the better. Some people just can't stand not adding in something brand new though.

One year one couple went to Goodwill and selected their gifts. It was a HUGE box so everyone "wanted" it. It was full of macrame plant hangers and the old gold and white corell dishes, etc. It was excellent.

I saw a Justin Bieber board game that was about $15 that I said I'm going to get if I go to a party with a gag gift. Or some of those "As seen on TV" items are usually cheesy, yet funny.

Fuzzy animal slippers that way they are cute and funny, but someone can still wear them. Last year I found a "bee catcher" kit at the dollar store. It was not nearly as popular as the fuzzy slippers.

That new toy Singamajigs are HYSTERICAL. They can sing together and look and sound so funny!

The comic hit of our gift exchange last year was Sarah Palin's book (complete with the big giant clearance price tag marking it down to $3.99).

I usually just buy scratch off lottery tix. Not imaginative but very popular.

Do you know how much those are? I think I might need to get one for our "Dirty Santa" exchange that we do with the youth ministry volunteers at our church! (they are a fun group and would get a real jolt out of something like that!)

Last year, one girl kept stealing back this huge, heavy box. She was so happy when she ended up with it. She opened it, and inside was a complete set of crappy Christmas dinnerware, including serving pieces. You should have seen her face! Priceless!

Wine bottles always get stolen. One year, I was the thief...I wanted that wine! Well, I opened the bag and it was a glass bottle of that Italian soda from Target. I was soooo bummed....
