Need the stroller to last him awhile he's almost 50lbs now but with his disabilities he prolly won't ever be able to walk all day at disney.

I have been looking for a stroller for my almost 55 lb 7yo DS. The Maclaren Volo and Triumph go to 55 lbs, and the Combi EX does as well, but not many go much higher. If your DS is already almost that weight and you will need a stroller for years to come, it might be worth trying to get a special needs stroller/push chair. You can rent them through various companies such as Orlando Stroller Rental that will deliver to WDW. In the disABILITIES FAQ, there is a link to rental companies. I am still deciding what to get for my DS, too.

On advice here ds bought dgs the McClaren. He out grew it in one year, we had one trip with it. We were going to rent the double size stroller at the parks, but $$$$$. Dgs is now almost 7, also with needs....we bought the onsite Umbroller type that is sold at Disney last year and it has undergone three huge trips, two Disney,
DGS is 54 inches and 57 lbs. fits in there better then the McClearen hands down. Mc was too narrow.
I think we paid $50 for it and well worth the cost, easy to handle, cup holder, carry all attached. Mickey REd and black.
Not sure the manufacture, but we went over every terrin including the trolly tracks and still going strong.
