Need 2 ADR- 1 character 1 not

Going in the fall. Me , DH and kids add 9 and 6 and son 8.

We are just doing 4.5 days in October. Have done just about every character meal except the castle and AK. With the new rope drop at MK it knocks out me wanting to do PPO there.

Don't want to sit at Epcot since we will be doing F&W there.

Then looking for a non character meal. Really wanted Ohana but hard to pay $25 for the kids to eat nuggets and mac and cheese.

Thanks all! I'm having a terrible time narrowing to just 2 but it's kinda a impulsive trip and want to keep costs down.

If you haven't done Tusker House, I would highly recommend it. A wide variety of food...adventurous to typical...and great character interaction. Beautiful ambience. Great service. Non-character...the World is your oyster! There are so many great TS. You have so many options, it would be hard to go wrong. Since you wanted Ohana, but can't justify the cost...understandable...how about Kona Cafe. It's near to Ohana and has wonderful options.

I thought the original menu was great, but apparently others didn't like it so well. They changed the menu to make it less adventurous, but its still good. Skippers Canteen was really fun when we did it in November. For adults, it was a very good menu with lots of options. didn't pay attention to the kids menu, but its availabe to review online.
If you love the bad jokes on the Jungle Cruise, you will enjoy your waiter/waitress. Ours could rattle bad one liners one after another over and over. It was awesome. She even went back and forth between our table and the one next to us sharing bad jokes. We enjoyed it enough that my wife and daughter are going in May and we will be back in October.

We love Ohana breakfast and would definitely recommend it. No one has done the new Boardwalk one yet as it begins on April 2nd. We are excited to try it over the 4th of July week though.

Do they do characters for lunch too? We land the morning we are going to Animal kingdom.

Have never done hoop de doo. Will look into that. GIRLS have never done CRT but I know my son would have zero interest!
