Need 1br Very Close To Wdw For 3/18-3/23

Okay- we're DVC members but have no points for this stay. I know there are 1 BR suite hotels other than Disney - I have stayed at Universal also. My brother in law last year stayed at Bonnet Creek but they don't have a 1BR for my timeframe. I know Nickelodeon has a suite but that's pretty far away. I would like the grounds to be nice enough to swim and eat (Disneyesque but w/o the cost). Cost I would like to keep down b/c I need to renew my annual passes and possibly rent a car depending on where we stay. I have a 2 1/2 yo, 9 and 12 yo also and gotta keep them happy along with the hubbie. Any suggestions? Much appreciated....

I highly recommend priceline. Ask for the disney/buena vista area....I have done this twice and have paid 80 dollars a night for the disney hilton and I also just got rooms for my brother and my mom at the royal plaza for 55 dollars a night! (royal plaza also offers a character breakfast)

I have seen a few post for gd deals at Caribe Royale resort - The AAA rate for your 5 nights is about $635(not sure if it is with or without taxes etc) it is a 1 bedrm suite with a kitchenette. Its close to WDW and there are restaurants on site plus a kids play area of the pool and they also have pool slide and food/drink service at the pool. Not sure if its to high but here is the link If you live in FL its even cheaper.

Also we have also done Hotwire - in fact we are staying in a 1 bedrm condo off hotwire(Bluetree resort LBV) near DTD for 2 nights prior to checking into OKW(we own DVC too) Only issue is that you don't know the name of the resort until you commit to buy.

I don't know if your days are able to change but I suggest looking on Ebay. They have some Bonnet Creeks there. This one is a 3 bedroom at Bonnet Creek for 898 for March 20-27th. Good Luck
