Here's the background:
It's just DH and I, 10 days, we love sit down breakfast w/ or w/out characters, buffet or not, just want another good breakfast that's not too far out of the way. We're staying at the Poly.
Here's what we have so far:
Tuskar House (AK)
Crystal Palace (MK)
Kona (???)
Ankershus (Epcot)
Hollywood & Vine (HS)
Chef Mickey (???)
Room Service (DTD)
Cinderella Castle (???)
1900 Park Fare (???)

Any other suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance.

Resort to Resort isn't always the most direct but DH and I always try to pop over to the AKL to have breakfast at Boma. It's a nice breakfast buffet. Also there is the Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian being you are on the monorail line.

We'll be trying the Cape May buffet at the Yacht Club; the food looks great and we've never been there. We're a bit bummed that the Crystal palace will be closed for rehab when we're there in a month.

The Trail's End breakfast buffet reviews are good and the price is great...I believe it's only $11.99 per person.

We've also had the Boma buffet and it is wonderful; very unique. Enjoy!

Everyone is so quick on these boards, thank you. I didn't even think about Boma and I've always wanted to see the AKL. Good idea, thanks.

Cape May sounds interesting also, I was thinking of doing the Clam bake dinner there one night but I've heard mixed reviews. Thank you.

Boma breakfast is excellent.

How about OHana at the Poly? It is served family style.

I haven't tried this one but what about the Wave at the Contemporary.

We love the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. It can be loud though, but it is less expensive than most and the food is good and we love the antics. :)

I think the best non-character breakfast on property isn't in a restaurant at all. I like going to either the Boadwalk Bakery or to the Boadwalk bar area down from the lobby to get some coffee, a bagel, and maybe some fruit. I then go out or down to Crescent Lake and enjoy the quiet there before Epcot opens and the rush of the day starts.

If you are a walker, jogger, or runner the best of any of those on property is around the lake and along the corral between the Boardwalk area and DHS. I love to get there right at dawn and do a couple of laps and then get breakfast and enjoy it next to the lake.

I would definately go to 'Ohana for breakfast. The food is amazing and the juice is out of this world. THe characters are fun too, Stich was a riot when we were there. If you want something more quiet the Grand Floridian Cafe was also very good, my husband loved their lobster eggs benedict. Yum!

Since you are staying at the Poly what about Ohana or adding Kona in for a second time? I would ditch 1900 PF for GFC and make sure you get to Boma, it is the best

We stayed at the WL last trip and we liked Whispering Canyon so much we did it twice, I'm thinking doing it again or Boma since it's getting alot of votes. Thanks everyone. You guys are the best. :grouphug:

I definitely suggest The Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast.
We've eat there twice for breakfast and loved it. Great atmosphere & great food ... loved the french toast. Plus just a short monorail ride over and you can walk back along the lagoon.

I vote for a breakfast at O'Hana's. The absolute BEST meal ever I have had a Disney. A must for us every time!
