Melbourne (MLB) 39 miles
West Palm (PBI) 80 miles
Orlando (MCO) 109 miles

The actual answer is Citrus Grove Aviation... But it's a teensy airport that only handles private planes and has no IR capabilities.

MCO will give you the most variety of carriers and flights, PBI is great but you'll probably have a connection.

With MLB your only choice is Delta, but it is soooo convenient to use. In-and-out of the airport in 10 minutes!

MLB is fabulous -- small airport, short drive to Vero. That said, we're going through MCO this time because we couldn't get the flight schedule/fares to work for us. In the past it's been about 40-50 more per ticket to go through MLB which we felt was well worth the price for the convenience. Fares were much higher this year and schedules were not as good as in the past.

Yeah, unfortunately Delta is changing the schedule on a monthly basis, and it hasn't all been for the good.

I thought perhaps it was MLB. I'm going to have to see what airlines go in and out of this airport. I'm a bit sceptical on Delta right now.
