Nearby Red Lobster or Olive Garden

Are you genuinely considering visiting both Disneland and Walt Disney World but in both cases eating offsite at average chain restaurants that can be found all over the country?

Maybe the OP is from an area in the US where those restaurants aren't within a short drive? However OP should go to the websites for both to find the closest locations .

Have you eaten at DL or DTD lately? Prices are outrageous. 14.00 for a hamburger at Rainforest...we head to Gardenwalk for PF Changs, CPK, and Cheesecake Factory. We buy the gift cards at Costco and save 20 on 100 of gift cards.
I can understand your statement for WDW, but at DL this is more than possible.

Yeah I agree, the food at DLR pales in comparison to WDW. There are a few good places to eat inside the Resort, but if you can get out, it's pretty quick to get to a whole city to find a regularly priced place to eat.

I was thinking maybe it's a regular thing for the OP, or perhaps there's a Darden Restaurants gift card involved. In any case, I remember when someone asked a simple question about finding locations of a particular chain store, and a whole bunch of responses were criticizing the OP for shopping there. That went south really quickly, with the mods deleting quite a few replies.

I think we should just accept that the OP wants to got to Red Lobster or Olive Garden and leave it at that. In any case, I just checked their websites, and there's Red Lobster in Garden Grove and Brea. Olive Garden has locations in Orange, Brea, Buena Park, and Santa Ana.

Like theluckyrabbit said Red Lobster is about a super short drive south Harbor Blvd just before Garden Grove Blvd if you are driving from Disneyland. It's on the left. It's really easy to get to.

Also, if looking for a family style restaurant nearby - Mimi's is great!!! We always go there a few times each trip to California and I crave it when I am home :)

I was thinking too that OG and RL are pretty generic for a California vacation. Granted I have both within a few minutes drive from my house, and some people like sticking with familiar places. I've been wanting to ask what reasonlably priced good non-chain restaurants are near DL.
