Sun is shining, we have a dusting on the ground where I am. North and west of here got clobbered. There are lots of people without power here in MA.

Abundant sunshine today. Got about 3 inches. The power flashed on and off for a while but stayed on.

Plow guy came and took care of the driveway, I just need to go clean off my car.

DH shoveled. We are, thankfully, powered

Our plan for the day was to do nothing and we've pretty much achieved that. Dinner is in the crock pot, we're all still in our jammies. I'm working on my sketch swap pages, Morgan's been reading, DH is watching football. All is good.

Just talked to friends on the other side of town, she got 9 inches. And that half of town is without power, so weird!! Even our plow guy couldn't understand why we had so little snow.

We got a dusting and wintry mix. Had to sit in the car this morning after working all night to thaw the windows. I was not going to scrap after working 12 hours. My friend got 5 inches at her house.

Talked to LovingtheMouse - they lost many trees and their whole area is without power - they were told to plan for 4 - 5 days. SAME area that got smacked by the tornado.

Lisa & MomE also were without power and running on a generator, with many limbs down. One said 8 inches, the other 13.

Oh no! We were without power for over 6 days after Irene. Thankfully, it was warm and we weren't dealing with trying to keep warm. Please send them my best!

we have been without power since Sat. afternoon -- there is about 6inches of snow and tons of trees down and powerlines in the roads -- ITS A MESS OUT THERE!! this is so much worse then loosing power for Irene becuase its just so very COLD!!! The boys do not have school today and might be out all week --- ughhh! at least my work has power - charging up the cell phones, nook, laptop.

Checking in, still no power, operating on the generator,and thank goodness for the woodstove. The light company is saying to expect it to be out for seven days. No power at work either.

We went over to MomE's today and cleaned out her freezer. She has lots of large limbs hanging down from 60' trees. Wires still on the road and trees.

The lines for the gas station in town is a 40 minute wait and the lines going out onto the main road. Crazy.

If I don't have work tomorrow, I think I am going to wrap Christmas presents.

Still with out power and It was 24 degrees in the house last night -- took the boys to the emergency shelter they set up at the middle school -- felt good to have a warm place to sleep. I am over this no power nonsense!!

We have power!!!!!
Lost 7 huge trees all around the side of the house and backyard - will get pix up later. All foods in the frig and freezer are lost - but we are safe!!! Our schools were closed all week. Heat is wonderful!!!!
