NCL (newer ships) vs. DCL with older teens/YA?

We've cruised all of above in Europe. As it tends to be very port intensive, we found that activities didn't matter as much as we were very tired and just wanted to swim and chill. We did some upcharge places, but were usually fine with MDR and even the buffet some nights. We literally had almost zero extra charges.

I’ve done 4 Disney European cruises, but the prices just keep going up and up. There is such a wide gap in the prices now it’s hard to justify choosing DCL I find the off season cruises on the Fantasy and Dream to be the best deal.

Never saw any drunks on our NCL Alaska cruise. People were too busy with excursions, exploring the ship and enjoying the entertainment.
