NCAA Basketball Championship

Who do you guys like in the game tomorrow? I like UNC's odds. They have a great team and star Ty Lawson. However, Michigan State is right up at their level, and have the homefield advantage at Ford Field in Detroit. For me, it's a toss up. Gonna be a close one.

If you ask me, I'm paying more attention to college hockey. Our Miami (OH) Redhawks hockey team just made the Final Four of the NCAA Hockey Tournament!! They are playing in the semi-finals this coming Thursday at 5:00pm on ESPN. You all should tune in if you can. I'll be there with the Miami band cheering on my team! GO REDHAWKS!

I would really love to say that I'm 100% undoubtedly rooting for Michigan State, as they are a Big Ten team and I'm in a Big Ten school (Purdue). BUT, as it goes, and as my BRACKET goes, I think North Carolina could take the championship. Ty Lawson is just so athletic, and Psycho-T aka Tyler Hansborough is just such a force down low that it's hard NOT to overlook him as a presence.

Although, Michigan State DOES have "Ford Field advantage" and I'm sure today the whole state is going to be there. Suton is definitely just as present in the paint as Hansborough (although I'm not so sure he's as ATHLETIC), and the smothering defense of Big Ten ball and the guard play of Kevin Lucas are sure to be huge factors too.

My guess is it'll come down to Lucas and Lawson. If Lucas can keep on Lawson, than hurray, this game could be Michigan State's. Otherwise, Tar Heels are national champs.
