NBA Experience Coming to DTD (DS)

I admit it. I love Disney Quest. I love going to play the video games of my youth. With a PAP it was always a good distraction at DTD. Can't say I'd pay actual price to go in, but I do like a good arcade.

I loved DisneyQuest...in 1996...I liked DisneyQuest a decade later when it was 90% the same...now I don't care anymore.

They either need to seriously fix it, or put it out of its misery.

ESPN is really nothing more than TMZ with a focus on sports. My opinion is that they have major contributions to why the NBA and NFL have become tough to watch for most. And their coverage of almost anything has been horrible for a while. I do enjoy Karl Ravech on Baseball Tonight though.

This seems like a strange idea to be honest.

I think my opinion of the NBA is fairly obvious but I can understand how people don't like where the league is headed.

We are almost an identical age from the looks of it... I've been a critic long before what I loosely term "maturity" though...

I didnt grow up near Chicago but we got wgn and I watched every game of MJs career and loved that team... So sorry if I tweaked you too hard on the NBA...

It really isn't much of a game now (since I'm watching the finals now)...and the nfl is just a league of scumbags from top to bottom...and I grew up in perhaps the biggest/most loyal fanbase in the sport...

I couldn't agree with you more...having watched espn since roller derby, bowling, and austrailian rules football were programming highlights...it's just nonstop propoganda for their leagues and sponsors now...not about the competition.

Having been to both places, I would have thought that City Walk has a lot more of the, ah, NBA target audience dropping in regularly, whereas Disney tried pretty hard to discourage that element. Remember back in the day when they banned the star FL football player for life for hanging around DTD the way ... ah ... target audiences tend to like to do?

Until you people who know a lot more about these things fill me in, I'm going to guess that Disney was just plain desperate for tenants of some kind, any kind, to fill all that space in "the springs".

I only ate there once and the food was rather dull. It's been at City Walk for more than a decade, so it's time for a new concept there just to keep things fresh. As for moving to Disney, it makes sense because Disney/ESPN is so much into the NBA. City Walk can get a cool, new concept and the NBA gets the chance to try again with new concept at Disney Springs.

Well technically the packers have the most world championships but if you go with just Super Bowls it's the steelers. I still say the packers have the most loyal fan base, we pack lambeau when it's snowing and negative temperatures and have a waiting list for season tickets so long that you could put you unborn child on it and they still might not get tickets.
