I wish we could have all pro's go into detail between the Navigator Verandah's
deck 5---#'s---5132 5134 5136 5138 5140
5632 5634 5636 5638 5640

deck 6---#'s---6134 6136 6138 6140 6142
6634 6636 6638 6640 6642

deck 7---#'s---7120 7122 7124 7126 7128
7620 7622 7624 7626 7628

And so want to know the size of the decks and rooms to the 4 not mentioned or pictured much, the imfomus OBSTRUCTED VIEWS..

#'s 6134 6634 7120 and 7620???

I get conflicting stories between WDCL CM's and the internet cruise sites etc... I would Love like many others to see photo's of the obstructive cabins and to know if the glass doors are the same with the door in the middle and one on both sides? Is the obstruction real bad because in the one picture it does not look to bad to me. But than I read that the balcony is much smaller than the reg. balconys. Also read that the Nav. Verh's. on deck 5 are 6" smaller than the Nav. Verh's. on decks 6 & 7? I'd Love to know would a person be able to lie on the bed or couch and see the water? I know that I am not alone on wanting to know and maybe with the help of all you Great DCL folks out there that we could have a site addressing this issue. Thanks To All.

Hi Chatty: I just reserved 7620 for our 9/3/05 Magic cruise. Are you crusing before then? When I called DCL several weeks ago to secure an obstructed veranda stateroom, 7620 was the only one available out of the 4. Our friend, Barb, will be able to tell you about them. I'm sure she'll read your thread.

By the way, I live in the Lansing area. I'm in Clinton Township often visiting friends and relatives.

We have 7120 & 7122 on our November cruise. I can't wait to see the differences first hand. :cool1:

I just came off the ship last week and was in 5136. In my honest opinion, I thought it was an outstanding location. I like the fact that I could walk down the length of the ship and not have to walk through hallways of cabins. You actually walk past the nursery etc with double the hallway room. I cruised before and was in a clear wall verandah....and to me....5136 is equally as nice even though it was a navigators. I rebooked this same room for my next cruise in Sep 16. HTH

We just had 7620 a couple weeks ago and loved it so much that we switched our 2006 cabin. It has a plexi glass bottom to the railing. It was nice to lay in bed and see the water. The obstruction is such that if you are tall you will have to duck to look out the far right hand side of the balcony. I did not think the veranda was any smaller than the one we had in December 03 6144. We did not measure it though. As for the Navigators Verandah, you cannot lay on the couch and see the water. The bottom of the balcony is solid. Hope this helps. I think I have a photo of both the obstructed and the navigator verandah if you want me to send it to you.

Thank You Everyone this so helps me with my decision..

We were in 5634 in December, and we loved it. You can see some pictures of the room (as well as the verandah, the port and a few other things) here .
