best for the money!
we had the Navigator's Verandah for both our cruises 11/2000 and 5/2003 and just love it. square footage-wise, it is the same size as the regular verandah staterooms, but costs less. the only difference is the design of the verandah. it is mostly enclosed, but still has plenty of room to look out and lean out/over. there's a cushioned bench, table, chair, and nautical decor. additionally, if there is a storm outside, you can still go out on your verandah and not get soaked (unless the wind is blowing in).
the rooms are in the back part of the ship - it wasn't noisy at all. if you are looking at a side view of the ship, it is directly above where the rear gangway is. it's just back slightly from the aft elevators. you're actually a couple decks above Parrot Cay and Animator's (which is where you'd go for your safety drill).
if we go again, Navigator's Verandah - no question about it.
