I wonder if it would be too much to ask the room steward to drop off the daily navigator. Any thoughts?

You can certainly ask. The majority of people reporting on such requests here have been successful, with the occasional denial. They are available at the Guest Services desk if your stateroom host/hostess is not amenable to fulfilling the request.

You certainly can ask. If you don't meet the stateroom host until the first night, you might need to stop by Guest Services to get one for day 2, but the stateroom host will deliver thereafter. (at least that was our experience on the Magic 2 weeks ago)

Thanks D, I will give it a try and see what they say. :) Wasn't sure if it was a cheeky request or not, since the room steward used to bring it every night on past cruises.

We asked our room steward on our last cruise and they did it every night. No problems.

we had a great room steward, we did not even ask. He asked us if we would like one. and we had one every night on our bed, the best state room steward on the wonder

We asked on the Fantasy in August and our host brought us one each night. Even the night DS forgot to take the sign off the door, and our room was not made up, he still left the Navigator on the fish for us. :)
