I still say we need a "rolleyes" message icon.

Anyway, with all that's happened lately, I've pulled out an old fantasy series that I really enjoy. Light-hearted, full of puns and crazy situations. All in all, good fun.

I had books 1, 2, and 8. Found 1 (which I looked right at on my shelves 5 times without seeing it, so I have two copies now ), 3, 4, 5 and 6 at half price books for dirt cheap.

Figured I'd just pick up the 7/8 combo that was re-relased, along with the rest of the books in the series.

No go, the Barnes & Noble (only big book store roughly on my way home or convenient for lunch) had the 9/10 combo, several copies of the 1/2 combo, and one of the 5/6 combo -- none of the rest.

Okay, no biggie. I'll just get book 7 at the library and order the rest online. Right?

The library has almost the whole series. Of that, *one* book is marked as "return time unknown" meaning it was lost. Guess which book.

Yep, book 7. The one I want.

Guess I'm either going to have to fight the mall traffic (which I don't feel like doing right now) or just order it online. No biggie, except for when you're in a "down" mood and want this *particular* book for a pick-me-up. *sigh*

I'll check them out, thanks TC. I found it in the used section of Amazon for just the price of shipping, but I'll see if Half.com has lower shipping costs.
